For those with an entrepreneurial
spirit, Finland does indeed provide ample opportunity
for "going it alone" - even for foreigners.
In the past it has been difficult for non-Finnish
speakers to obtain information on starting, developing
and running a business. Thankfully such information
is increasingly available.
In particular the Web site Enterprise
Finland, part of YritysSuomi, has developed to such
an extent that the work of Expat Finland in this section
has virtually been done!
Enterprise
Finland is a service package aimed at foreigners and
immigrants. The site, also available in Finnish and Swedish,
is a comprehensive portal for enterprises and entrepreneurs.
It provides access to a vast range of public services,
and assistance in issues such as setting up a business,
growth and development measures, taxation, accountancy,
and international business activities.
In this section Expat Finland will primarily
serve as a portal to Enterprise Finland and other sites related
to entrepreneurship, as well as providing additional relevant
information. |
