About Finnish Furnished Apartments
Furnished apartments are commonly available in some countries - not serviced apartments, simply long-term rental apartments which are furnished. This is not common in Finland but at least one agency below specialises in them.
Other Finnish agencies specialise in furnished apartments we'd usually refer to as 'serviced apartments'. They have the benefit of being available instantly, and contracts can be for as little as one day but can extend to months or years. In the case of stays over a month or so, prices can often be negotiated.
Serviced apartments are great for people on extended holidays or business trips; cheaper than hotels and much more 'a home away from home'. They're usually in, or close to, city centres. They're between hotels and 'regular' apartments in style of living and price, and are in good condition, furnished and decorated, and include utilities, internet access, modern appliances and full kitchens. Many offer services such as cleaning, laundry, and/or airport transport. Unlike hotels, serviced apartments don't usually have reception desks, bars, restaurants et cetera, but these are generally available in the immediate neighbourhood. Prices depend on factors such as location, length of stay, and level of services required.
An alternative to finding a 'ready-made' furnished apartment is to use a furnishing service, who can help you set up the home you've found anywhere in Finland.
